I guess it was inevitable…at some point, I would start a blog to post the story of my adventures in astronomy. If nothing else, this will be a way for my friends and family to follow along with what I do in my very limited free time to unwind, recharge and relax.
So stick around, I should have posts with stargazing tips, pictures I take on my fledgling steps into the wide, wonderful world of astrophotography (and my sketches too…). Speaking of sketches, I’ve been keeping a log book of my sketches at the eyepiece since 1994 when my parents got me my first telescope, a Tasco 114mm…so look for some classic sketches popping up here and there for grins.
With any luck, my obersvational skills will improve (becuase otherwise what’s the point?) and maybe I’ll get a few good pictures and sketches too. Maybe you’ll get a laugh at my antics—I mean skills.
At any rate, welcome and have a look around.
